Verio's facilities, including its data center in Boca Raton, Florida, will be monitored on a 24 hour basis, to help ensure uninterrupted business operations for customers. The Florida data center is housed in a Category 5 rated building designed to withstand significant weather occurrences such as hurricanes.

The facility has fully redundant power systems to ensure continuous power capabilities for an extended period. Additionally, backup generators are serviced through multiple priority contracts in the event refueling is required.

Verio is also communicating ongoing updates on the current hurricane situation it is monitoring, and the steps it is taking in critical areas to maintain normal business operations.

Verio worked closely with its customers to ensure their business recovery plans were in place and to address any outstanding preparation issues both in advance and throughout the hurricane's sweep across the state of Florida.

Customer support operations will also continue their normal 24/7 staffing, with contingency plans in place as needed.
