Operating system

What do you have?

The best way to determine whether or not you need an operating system update is to check and see which one you have now. This will depend entirely on what operating system you are running. For example, if you are running a Windows operating system, then you will most likely be looking at numerical versions of Windows OS. The most current operating system that Windows has is Windows 10.

If you are running a Apple/Macintosh computer, the operating system is completely different. Although they also have numbers, they also have names, such as Snow Leopard, Mountain Lion, and El Capitan. The most current version of the Mac OS is El Capitan.
